About me and my workshop
Designed and made in my workshop based in Watford Hertfordshire. Creating furniture has been a long time passion of mine from the endless opportunities of design and the natural beauty in each species of wood and the grains texture.
I began my passion for designing furniture at secondary school woodworking classes and had then at West Herts College in Watford Hertfordshire completed a Higher National Diploma in Art and Design to expand my design creativity. I had then progressed to study at Buckinghamshire New University in High Wycombe, to further expand my design and making skills in a BA Hon's Furniture Restoration, Conservation & Decorative Arts. This consisted of a Higher National Diploma in Furniture Making and a degree in furniture making and restoration.
I had then set up my own workshop in Watford, Hertfordshire, to design, make and restore furniture. Commissioned work from clients and creating beautiful Bespoke signature pieces to present my skills and my passion to give each client a piece that is not only specified to them but also part of their home which was initially created by you.
In my spare time I volunteer my services at 9 Lives Furniture charity shop in Rickmansworth. In their wood workshop I help to fix and restore furniture which is donated and in need of restoration.
I am currently on the Princes Trust Enterprise programme which support businesses that are starting up. Their mentoring and business training help to take ideas further and help to expand my full potential.
